Charlie Messina, PhD

Research Fellow in Crop Science and Predictive Agriculture at Corteva R&D, which is the research division of Corteva Agriscience, United States
Charlie conducts research on physiology and genetic determinants of crop responses to water and nitrogen deficits. He is leading a research program to leverage the power of breeding and genetics to design crops for novel agricultural systems that realize the environmental potential in a sustainable manner. His research supports the development of predictive models that by harnessing statistical learning and mechanistic understanding enable the design of agricultural systems.
